We are excited to have the Franz Food Truck serving grilled cheese sandwiches this year! The food truck does serve wheat bread at other events. The team at Franz has assured us that the truck will be thoroughly cleaned and will not contain gluten ingredients while they are at our event. The team at Franz is well educated on Celiac Disease and cross contamination, but as always, please use your judgement as to what is best for your Celiac family members.
The Celiac Guild is making every effort to create the event as Celiac Friendly as possible. However, restaurants, ingredients, and preparation practices change often and may not always coincide with strict gluten free practices. Therefore, we cannot guarantee safety or endorse any food or products. Please use your discretion and to decide what is safe for you and your family.
Yes you can bring your dog. Please keep them on a short leash and close to you at all times. Please pick up after him/her as well and make sure to keep an open lane for runners passing on your left.
Yes, you may run or walk with a stroller. The course is a mix of road, gravel and a little grass so keep that in mind. We also ask to make sure to leave a passing lane on your left.
On race day, head to the registration booth, where you will find your race packet waiting for you listed under your last name. We suggest arriving at least 1 hour prior to race time.
Yes! Your racing bib will have a sensor that will time your race. Please make sure it is on the outside of your clothing and not under a sweatshirt, etc.
We start taking down the course starting from the end after 2.5 hours, so you have a little over 2 hours to finish your distance.
Headphones are not allowed near the start/finish area. Other areas of the course you may wear them, but please be alert as the course is open to the public and the park has many other activities going on.
Yes it is!
